| Message | Heh. I had more or less the same musings about YOU before, you know. I was like, "Najin's hella good looking! And she is a really cool person! You know, I really like her!" And then classes ended, we stopped talking, attempts at meeting up for something were unsuccessful--and I thought, "damn, she's onto me". Then you went to Australia so that discussion was concluded rather definitely. In response to your question proper: yeah, it's alright to expect reciprocation in equal or larger amounts, but you probably won't get it. But in the end, if you don't put in the effort (and the potential to be stonewalled) how will you ever get those good relationships? Somebody has to make the first move (okay, twenty or thirty moves) and it might as well be you. Unlike you I don't develop a large network of friends, I just have some really good friends that I really hang on to. Those friends were once "periphery" friends, too. |

Did it prolong the lives of people with quality (over quantity) of friendships? Did those friendships induce random spurts of endorphins in these people?...How on earth can this sort of thing be measured and "medically" quantified? |
