I noticed HB in a re-run of "The Sweeney" episode he was in. I did see him in "Murder In Mind" I think it was. "Karaoke" and "Cold Lazarus" were brilliant TV series after Dennis Potter's books, but
they had a vast cast of familiar faces and it's over 10 yaers ago I saw them.

MessageI've been a big fan since the '80s when watching "Shelley" on ITV. Many memories of belly-laughs galore from the excellent writing and Hywel Bennet's dry delivery.

I actually came across him once in a small antique store in Wimbledon village (up near the Common, not down the hill). But I certainly wasn't going to hassle him and let him be lol.

MessageI have to admit that I have not seen most of his works, but I do remember watching "Malice Aforethought" on Mystery when I was a kid. His performance was excellent.
