I love this website because it does tell the truth about living in America and living abroad. I lived in Japan and Germany, both countries are exactly as Winston describes here. Women in Europe are much better toward men than the women here, especially in California. Personally, I loved living and dating in Germany. Japan was okay also, way better than the Bay area.

I'm an immigrant. I thought I was the only one that felt this way. Yet my different perspective allowed me to see that something was wrong, though I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Worse, people who are born in USA can't even see it because its like being inside of a moving car with no windows. You can't tell its really moving. Knowing that theres other people that feel this way makes me feel much better. Thanks.

If you think Bellingham is bad You should try living in the outskirts of Sedro Woolley. Can you say "Deliverance?" Going bad to my husbands homestate of California to thaw my frozen body, mind, and soul.

Hello Winston,
I stumbled upon your website and find truth to what you have said about American society-- antisocial, every person is there own island and emphasize on work, money and material possessions.
I read you went to CSUH and tried to meet girls on campus everyday for 2 years. You are a brave one. Initiating contact with people there is scary. I'm the shy type but I find it a bit easier to interact people outside of campus.
Hope you are happy and found what you sought after.

Found Emily Steinkamp for you! this post won't let me post her facebook page link.
but her email is esteinka AT yahoo
I could really identify with your story. What's funny is I grew up to be quite wealthy, good looking, and am on TV - BUT YET I still have to work hard to get a girl's attention in America. It's just the way things are here. We are an anti-social lot in this country. I came across your article because I was strongly considering leaving my home and jumping ship. Sad, because I'll miss Walmart

This is the best stuff I have heard, and what I have been saying all along about western culture we need to put western culture back in order if this is even possible now because I only see it as getting more out of control.

Winston - I do admire that you sought 'love' elsewhere. However, I believe you lack the skill to communicate well. You look creepy and a pervert ... the romance abroad is really sex abroad. Wouldn't it be easier just to got a hooker in your town?

You're a pathetic little man. Don't blame your lonliness and insecurities on a beautiful place like Bellingham,WA. Its not the towns fault that you had to grasp on to your mommy and daddy because you couldnt handle the real world on your own. Its too bad for you that you were born an unattracttive man but don't blame that on American women. You are no better than them. I'm not surprised that they reject you. I'm originally from South Dakota and I don't think the women there will be any nicer to you! Maybe you should work on yourself a bit, take care of yourself by eating healthy working out and having hobbies. THey really do help. What woman would want to date you? The women overseas probably do have alterior motives for being with someone like you. Once again quit ripping on a town for your failures because BHAM isn't your problem its yourself.
