I am 26, going on 27, and the only difference between my life in the U.S. and yours is the fact that I have had ZERO positive experiences with bitchy AW my entire life. Your website and posts on the AWS forum circa 2004 made me realize that the grass really IS greener on the other side! You hit the nail on the head when you said that the U.S. is a social and dating hell. I was tormented during my youth and sexless/dateless since I hit puberty 15+ years ago. Right now, I have ZERO self-esteem and the only thing that prevents me from ending it all is being able to one day go overseas and escape this hellhole prison! F--- the haters, you rock! |

You are in no position judgeing from your writing, to make the judgements you aver. Your criticism of skeptics such as Randi and your references to astrology show your lack of depth. You just don't get what reason is. Good luck to you. Your ego investment in building yourself up may not let you achieve the real intellectual status you seek. Better to grow and reach the stature of men like Randi, Shermer, Sagan, etc., rather than try to cut them down to make yourself look more important. I think you have what it takes if you work at it. |

| Message | My graduate thesis deals with the images of mail order brides on the internet. As you have probably guessed my mother was a mail order bride and thanks to her I am able to become one of those educated, independent and outspoken women that you speak out against. It seems that by traveling around in search of the most lucrative dating spots, you lead on a lot of women who may truly hope for something more. There is a film you MUST watch it is a documentary by Shannon O'Rourke called "In the name of Love." She travels to Russia and interviews mail order brides about why they are doing what they are doing. I think by watching this, you may realize that women are not a homogeneous group, but diverse. We have brains, hopes, dreams and generally don't include tits and ass into our identity. |
