Message hello,

I bought some random records today in a little second hand place and amongst them was a white label copy of your album Willerby (IMAGINARY027) - listening to it now, it's not bad, but I saw on your page you say that it's unique and very rare, just wondered why that was?

thanks

j.

Message Hi there hope you are both well have tried to find you on Facebook but don't think you are on there then I remembered your website but wasn't sure if you were still going? I wanted to contact you to remember Jimmy I myself was very sad to hear he had died. it upset me more to think he was alone when that happened I couldn't stop thinking about it. I went to pay my respects at the Queens Hotel & then his funeral. He was good to us & was our friend for a few years. At the hotel I met his nephew & mentioned that we had known him etc & told him about the teapot we had bought him for what must have been his 55th b'day he said he had seen it in Jimmy's kitchen on the shelf imagine he had kept it all those years! Anyway we have our memories he really was a remarkable bloke for all he was bit odd in a good way. Just thought I'd say hi bye for now Claude x

Message Wow, just stumbled accross this site, was having a moment of nostalgia, doubt you remember but first saw you when you played Salisbury arts centre , me and my mates loved it and you let us come back stage for a chat, after that we kinda followed you around, going to see you in Leeds, Rochdale, Northampton,Brunel univesity and a few other places I can no longer remember, great fun and you were all really lovely and put up with our drunkeness.
Road to Roundhat pier was and still is a top album, so thankyou for the music and fun.... cheers

Message Hi Mandi/Debi,

I hope the both of you are well. I really miss the band. It was a huge part of my life. I still remember that gig in Reading on my birthday. It was the day before you played the Electric Ballroom in Camden. That was the night you played an electric set and told me that Bruce Foxton was going to playing in the band. I thought you were winding me up!!!!!
I'd like to get back in touch with you both and find out the latest news. Any chance you could drop me an e-mail???

Take care. Lots of Love Danny xxxxxx

Message Out of the blue I remembered 'American Boys', decided to do a google and here I am! I wore a Rhythm Sisters T-shirt to my first day of Uni at Brighton College of Art in 1988 after seeing you on some Channel 4 music video short and being immediately obsessed. Me and my mate Tracey bleached our hair and wore nothing but white T-shirts and 501s for a year. Also saw you live at the Woolwich Tramshed around this time - excellent gig, as I recall ^_^ Glad to see you're still rocking!

Message Followed you round all the student venues when you toured Liverpool in the 1980's . Have both of your albums. Halcyon days.

Any chance of a signed photo?

Message Hello Amanda,

Well I was looking at an old school photo the other day, saw you, remembered that you were into music so decided to look for your website. You may not remember me at all ! No probs. I can remember thinking you were the prettiest girl in the class - aged 13 ! Good to see you have made records and enjoyed yourself gigging, and hope all is well in your life. My life has been a good laugh, sometimes literally, I have done some standup as a hobby ! I still have a house in Leeds and get there often, but my work in sales takes me out of the country a lot. Hey I hope you are still writing, singing and smiling. Bye.

Message The first time I met Debi, Mandi and Bill was in the Barley Mow in Newcastle upon Tyne. They were supporting The Proclaimers at the Riverside Club. We stayed in touch and a few months later they were back at the same venue headlining. Needless to say we had a few more drinks. Top people.
