The wrestler, requiem, and the fountain are not only incredible films, but landmark pieces of art. I treat The Fountain as a diary at this point in my personal endeavors in biological research... Tommy's ideals are not only a goal to work towards but an obsession to idolize. Sir, you are a genius.

Not sure if you'll ever read this, but after watching The Fountain for the bazillionth time as well as losing my breath (for the bazillionth time) at the moment where the tree is dying and Hugh rages... I just had to let you know that some critics are absolute wankers for not only boo'ing during the press release but also for being so short sighted.
I'm sure you know by now that it is seriously one of the most astounding pieces of work to have EVER been made. The simple fact is that this film is just so huge that people just can't comprehend it's beauty and simple story.
Thanks heaps for perservering to finish this project after such a bungled beginning with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. No matter what - this movie is definitely going to be counted as a true masterpiece of film.
I've seen two of your movies -- Pi and The Fountain -- and simply put, you are my new favorite director. The cinematography, the stories, the symbolism, the visuals... just great! Very inspirational and emotional.
And the soundtracks! You and Clint Mansell have a great professional relationship. His compositions are amazing and fit your films perfectly.
Thanks for the great films, and have a great 2010!
Dear Darren Aronofsky! Late, but not too late I watched 2 of your movies: "Requiem for a dream" and "The Fountain". Both movies are the best movies I ever saw. Especially The Fountain is my new favourite movie. No movie ever, touched my soul and my feelings as this one. The story, the pictures, the music is just unbelievable wondefull. I do not have the right words for that masterpiece. Thank you very much Mr Aronofsky!
