| Message | darren, don't ever ever ever believe any naysayer or critic who maligns any of your films. you have proven, in only a few films, not only your inate grasp of film-making and storytelling from a technical point-of-view but also your passionate eye for the beauty and the bittersweet that is life's journey and the many places it may lead. on a personal note, i want to especially thank you personally for THE FOUNTAIN. i have never been so moved, so emotionally engaged, watching a film. each time i watch it i open the floodgates and let myself get caught up in the romance and struggle of tom & izzy. it is a beautiful film, one that i will return to again and again as the years go on. thanks again, and can't wait to see what's next. say hi to rachel for me! :) cheers, GREG VICKERS ps - clint mansell's music is your secret weapon; don't ever forget it! |

I guess I could just tell Darren that I am a big fan and that Pi was one of the films that inspired to become a filmmaker, something I am not fully yet but on my way towards. | Message | hey guys. i just wanted to say that i' a bit disappointed about the "the fountain remixed" competition. for everyone who participated, it would have been nice to get a feedback or at least name some winners. i guess it was nothing more than a marketing tool, all this talk about people connecting and creating and remixing..... keep up the good work take care |
