| Message | Duval Universe is Sunday,May 11th,if you want to see some of the best entertainers the country has to offer,see you there.The reigning Rulers of the Universe Neo Dickerson and Silkie Munroe along with some of the former rulers Neandre Bonet Dupree and A'zsia,The Lady Marissa,Al Milan Dupree,Antwanette Chanel Robinson and Alexis Gabrielle Sherrington will be in attendance.Alphonse Dupree and Avontis Ova King will be giving up thier titles to the new winners.It promises to be a fabulous night with glitz,glamour and a wonderful contest.Hope to see you there...Club Metro 9pm |

| Message | If its for you, its for you .....we like to say. But i have come to realize that Duval likes what it likes and maybe im not whats Duval is looking for. Its hard when you from the city of Jax to come and win. People have there opinions of what to do or not to do but you just dont know unless you're in those shoes.Duval is an excellent system but you have to be prepared to win and also be what there looking for. Despite what people say about competing for Duval a number of times and each time is and learning experience(good and bad) but it is what it is and the scores are the sscores. But in any case.............I luv Duval and maybe they will accepted me with open arms one day. |

| Message | Thank you to all of the contestants from Miss Duval Plus 08'.I may be biased,but it was one of the best pageants that I've had the honor to be apart of..The girls bought thier A-games,and when it was all said and done India DaMore became the new queen.Though Desiree left some big shoes to fill,I know India is up for the challenge.She promised us "DRAG"...LOL..and we can't wait!!!A special shout to all the ladies,please know that I have nothing but love and respect for all of you and hope to see you all soon.  |

As is always the case with another Duval pageant,I have mixed emotions.I'm sad to see Desi go but very happy to welcome India into the fold.We all know "Once Duval,Always Duval"..and it is very true however the fact remains that when you are reigning,you are the number 1 priority.Desiree if there was any way to have you reign forever,I would have loved it! You are the example that all entertainers should strive to be,honest,loving,dedicated and above all a TRUE PROFESSIONAL.Thank you for the superb job and it's because of you that the contest went to the next level this year.Love you always...Rick Finn |
