| Message | You guys need to update your employment board, late Sept now, and a posting with April deadline is there. Recent ad's in the packet do not appear. Very elusive one would think. Jobs already spoken for? |

| Message | Hi, My grandfather and his family moved to Massachusetts from Clarenville around 1912. His father was a fisherman named William Lane who died before they moved. He was of Irish decent and Catholic. His mother's name was Emily. I am trying to find out her maiden name. She was born about 1860. Her chiildren's names were Francis Lane (my grandfather), Thomas, John, Patrick, Gertrude and William. If anyone knows of this family or may be related please email me at [email protected]. Thanks! |

| Message | WOW! We had occasion to visit Clarenville briefly. We are mainlanders who have been living in Newfoundland for one year. We were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of Clarenville. You should be commended on keeping Clarenville so clean, well planned and beautiful. We will be back for a visit again. It seemed to us that Clarenville was one of Newfoundlands best kept secrets. Keep up the good work with your community. Cheers. |
