MessageI think greater interaction among groups would result (mix up the tech bloggers and the marketers and the VCs and the usability people and, hell, even the sex bloggers) smilie and really spark some awesome conversations.

MessageAs a Newfoundland social history buff, I just love the old photos from the past. I look forward to viewing more on this site in future.

I'd love especially to see some train/railway pictures, as well as ones of the Original Cabot Highway and related gravel road systems on the Bonavista Peninsula before the completion of the TCH in 1965 and the upgrading and paving of what is now Route 230 in 1972.

I am from Bonavista originally, now living in St. John's, and am quite familiar with Clarenville from car trips for shopping and other reasons. How well I remember the old gravel highway from Bonavista to Clarenville -- how it wound all out around Trinity Arm and up over Breakheart Hill.

Wonderful website, and keep up the excellent work. I will visit again sometime.

MessageWow --what a thrill to see the Caribou win the Allan Cup. I'm with the Dundas Real McCoy's hockey team and a proud Nflder.I played with the Royals for one year (when I was 17)with the legend Danky Dorrington BUT this was by far the greatest feeling I've had watching Senior Hockey for the last 40 years. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

MessageCongratulations to your Caribou Senior Hockey team! They succceeded by beating the Bentley team way to go. I live in Fort St John where our Flyers beat the Generals last year. Bentley played very rough + + other stuff last year. I spoke often with Fraser Russell while he was here & enjoyed your team's gentlemanly play. I'm hopeful of visiting your community some day. You may give our email to Fraser if he would like to reply. Sincerely Lloyd Helton
