| Message | I asked awhile back for prayers for Dan and Wayne. Partners for many yrs, Wayne was diagnosed w/ pancreatic cancer. Well, after a valiant fight, he passed away on Wednesday afternoon. Please pray for his long time partner, Dan, and for all the people who knew and loved him, including me. < to be 10% of the person he was... would make me proud.... Thank you in advance.... LadyR |

| Message | My daughter-n-laws 6 yr old niece has been diagnosed with a stage 3 very rare form of kidney cancer. ( Wilms ) They removed her kidney on Monday but the cells have spread so she will be having intensive chemo and radiation for the next 6 months. | Message | Well, now I can tell EVERYONE! A couple of weeks ago I had my annual mammogram. It came back with "clustered" calcium deposits. My Mom has had calcium deposits for YEARS, but hers are "scattered". This is a sign of "possible" breast cancer. They took a 2nd set of pics, these magnified, and then scheduled a breast biopsy. I told Aura/Linda and a few others. I apologize to those of you I did not tell. After a HORRIBLE experience w/ the biopsy (the doctor and tech had the personality of a wet mop, combined and didn't explain things very well)  - although I did have a friend from work go with me. She even sat in the biopsy room and cracked jokes and encouraged me.  Well, long story short, the biopsy samples came back NEGATIVE!  THANKS TO ALL FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS! | Message | I was a good girl, and went and had my mammogram last week. They found a clump of calcium deposits. Now I need a needle biopsy to rule out cancer. The biopsy is scheduled for the 19th - and results probably wont be in until sometime the week after. I was really upset yesterday, but have calmed down some since talking w/ my mom... she also has calcium deposits in her breasts, so "I believe" it to be benign, and simply hereditary. So prayers of support would be appreciated. Your friend, LadyR |
