MessageWhat a great idea! I don't own a TV, but once in awhile, I catch bits and pieces of TV shows and am almost always disappointed by their lack of inclusivity, diversity, and even just plain interesting and creative subject matter. I would love to volunteer (although, as I said, I don't own a TV) so let me know sort of volunteer work you need!

And Connie, by the way, ROCKS!

MessageOh my gosh, it's about time!! Are you holding any auditions? LOL But seriously, it's about time that we show the world we're regular people!! I've always wondered why they don't have a chick on a wheelchair as a lead character on any show. Not a sad story where a miracle happens at the end, but a real chick, with real problems, boy issues and dreams!!Yes, it'd be cool to include a handicap issue, but always seen with perspective since it is a part of life for many many of us!!

MessageAs a person with a disability, I have aways been accutely aware of the exclusion of people with disabilities from mainstream media outlets- their stories, their images, their say in the production of culture. This opportunity that is long over due and eagerly anticipated!
