| Message | My grandmother maiden name was May Orgill born in Johannesburg. She died about 5 years ago. Her 88 year old younger sister Nancy also lives in Johannesburg. They are related to the famous carriage maker Orgill from Grahamstown South Africa. I don't know how the family got to South Africa. |

| Message | Hello Joe I live in Kitchener Ontario Canada .... and am a relative new comer to family genealogy .... So far with the help of a cousin in New Brunswick Canada I have a record of my family on my Mom's side back to 1675 as the earliest confirmed date .... The family name in that chain is Pridham ....For me (or my cousin) to look at your lineage back to Adam is PHENOMENAL and MIND BOGGLING .... I do NOT mean to be critical .... or do NOT mean to cast doubts on your efforts .... but I have a question .... What PROOF do you have ???? .... I doubt that documentation was a priority the first 10 or 20 generations from Adam .... In that case do you go on stories passed down by word of mouth ???? .... The last person that I know that did that was Alex Haley and even he had his distractors .... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT take this as being critical .... I would HONESTLY like to know what proof you have for even PART way back say to the time of the Roman invasion of England .... I would DEARLY LOVE to be able to use the same processes on my own research and trace my family back before 1675.... I am VERY MUCH looking forward to your reply .... but to be HONEST I will be SURPRISED if I get one ....I hope VERY MUCH I am wrong ....
