| Message | Hello again Carina ~ we met in Malibu and you stayed w/ Erlinda & me and old Julian in Pt. Hueneme, then on to Santa Barbara and my Chumash friends before you took off north thru the fires toward Alaska ... Sorry to tell you that Erlnda is no longer with us ~ struck by a brain yumor August '09, died in home/hospice 1.20.10 ... broke a lot of hearts. She's back in Philipines, family stlil cares for Julian who is fine at age 94 ...your friends in Hueneme Bay read of your travels ... take care, hope to meet again somewhere. |

| Message | Carina, We met and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the Purple House in David, Panama. Too brief was our time together, but I know there is a reason our paths crossed. Your life is the fantasy I have had for many years. Time does things to a person and the changes we go through as our lives weave through the carpet we call our life, brings us excitement, sadness, joy and bewilderment, but if we are smart and desire to take the time to stop and enjoy the smallest details, our lives are better for it. I will keep a fondness in my heart for you. Your quiet way and the wisdom you possess have made my life better. I hope, if the winds blow you my way, you will choose to land on my doorstep. |

| Message | Dear Carina san :) Happy New Year! :) I hope you still remember me, hehe.. I'm Wowie Hao, your classmate back in Japan. It's been more than a year since our short yet memorable stay in Osaka, and that's why I became so curious as to where you are now in the world! I checked your blog and am so happy to see that you are still traveling, sharing your insights of the different places you've seen and most of all happy to know that you are alive and well! :) remember the miniature globe you gave me on my last day at the center? I placed it by my window and it makes me smile every morning when i look at it :) it reminds me that somewhere out there is a kind Estonian girl who is traversing the world and hopefully someday I will meet her again to share a hot cup of coffee and listen to her wonderful life stories. :) Through you, my world becomes bigger, too, Carina :) So, good luck in your next journey!
