| Message | A random stranger I met in a cafe where I was having breakfast with a friend on the day before a big event I was organizing. She was alone at the table beside where my friend and I sat. She ate her breakfast while reading a book and occasionally looked up and smiled at us. After the breakfast was over, while I was standing near the table waiting for my friend to return from the washroom I suddenly felt inspired to invite her to the event I was organizing for the following day. She was delighted to receive the invitation. A week later she contacted me (as my name and number had been on the invitation) and told me she had attended the event and had enjoyed it very much. She wanted to thank me for responding to the impulse I'd had to invite her. After speaking with her for several minutes I realized that this woman was about to change my life. But that's beside the point. What happened was I spent the next nine years studying transformational therapy with her. I healed some tragically deep core wounds from my childhood in the process and started to become freer to living the life I had always felt would be forever denied to me. I think this is one of bigger landmarks in my history clearly defining an agent of change for me. I think I've used up the 1500 characters! LOL Camill |
