| Message | Brad:
What a delight to read your email yesterday. I just looked at your blog and was blessed by your last entry and acknowledgement that God is always present in our difficulties.
We, indeed, serve a mighty and gracious Savior. Christ says His grace is sufficient for me and His power is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12 So, do as He says in His Word, boast all the more gladly about your weakness so Christ's power may rest upon you.
I don't say that lightly. After having six heart procedures in the last eight years, including open-heart mitral valve repair and four ICD's implanted, the absolutely miraculous, healing Hand of God is as real as anything I've ever experienced. He is faithful. He is gracious. He is our strength and great reward - always.
I know The Lord intends these moments and experiences in our life, so we're able to use them to demonstrate God's provision and look back at the events recalling them in the context of His grand purpose.
So good to hear from you, Brad.
Remember to follow God's will and call on His power as He says in (Philippians 3:13-14). "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Blessings. |
