| Message | Benicio del Toro is one of the greatest actors of our time. He has played such a wide variety of characters, and my favorite is his role playing "Jerry" in "Things We Lost in the Fire." Just the expressions on his face tell a whole story. He doesn't even have to open his mouth to speak. I can't think of another actor that I can look at all day and never get tired of looking at! I have seen the above movie probably a dozen times, and every time I watch it, I notice something different about Mr. del Toro. As I said, his face tells it all. He is gorgeous and talented, and I am so happy that he has had such great opportunities to show what a fabulous actor can do, especially someone from another country. He can do anything, and I bet his does. I hope he gets recognized for his great work with further accolades and awards, and I also hope he continues to choose the kinds of roles he has. He doesn't stoop to the junk that many actors end up doing. He's got it all... |

| Message | It is an honor to be of the same country as such a talented actor. Benicion del Toro continues to amaze at the range of characters that he can portray, the latest one being Ernesto 'Che' Guevara. I am yet to see the film 'CHE' as it has not made it here yet (Marietta, GA) but I definitely plan to go see it, regardless of my political views on the subject of the Cuban Revolution. This is about the art of acting, and the portrayal of a historic figure. Benicio del Toro is proving to be a disciplined and passionate performer of his craft, the likes of which we have not seen that often recently. |
