| Message | I've been a firefighter for 6 years now with the Timmins Volunteer Fire Department in Timmins Ontario and average over a 1000 calls a year. We see alot of things and get alot of action here but my hat goes off to all of you`s with all the hard work during hurricane Igor. My wife and newborn son our currently there visiting family and friends during this period and informed me of all the work that is needed! Great job, keep up the hard work and you never know if all be moving up there one day and applying for a position, firefighting is forever in our blood! | Message | I served 35 years as both a volunteer and career firefighter in two suburbs of Montreal's West Island QC. Have been retired for seven years now but still take time to occassionaly catch up the latest news in the service. Will be in Clarenville for Christmas so if I see a car outside the station I might just drop in. Otherwise I wish you all season's greetings and a safe new year. |
