MessageLove reading your posts. I know it's going to be a great new year too. Christmas had a bah humbug kind of air this year. The kids surprised us with a "home make over" sort of. They are painting and carpeting our entire upstairs for us. They have been prepping, spackeling, priming and fighting aobut what music to listen to while they work. The 4 of them will never come through this project alive. The argument of the day is how to cut in properly. Chad and Brett don't believe in this wasteful ritual. Their motto is roll the walls as quick as possible. They are making me throw out my furniture. They already threw out the stool so I steps to get in so I can't actually get up and in the bed ahyway.....at least not without a running start and trampoline. Our old bed is welded together so Dan is comning tomorrow to chop it up with a saw. Uncle Dave's tool box (from Santa's secret shop) hasn't been a great deal of help either. Dan is bringing a ladder in through our bedroom window tomorrow.Hope your days are passing quickly. We really miss you and can't wait till you come home. Did you get the cards froom Lindsey's class? They were pretty funny. Keep in touch and stay safe;. We love yui

MessageHi Jason!!! It was great talking to you Christmas Eve! Kevin LOVES his Army outfit. He was watching T.V and saw a guy wearing it and said that is the one i have! He came home (at Midnight) and tried it on. My kids had to go christmas eve, i had no babysitter. I think Mumsey is bending the rules a little! (Plus you know, the child gets away with everything)HAHA! We had a great christmas, thought about you alot and we really missed you!! We cannot wait for you to get home! We got a couple of good games for the WII but... guitar Hero is the best! We all love it, even Uncle Glenn rocks out! smilie It is really fun, you will have to play it! Thanks for the tears over the Christmas blog! I know Grandpop is looking down on you with a lot of admiration and pride!! (I think being at war is the only excusable reason for missing Christmas eve)haha... Well take care! We all are praying for your safe return home and are looking forward to that day!!! Love ya Jason please stay safe!

Messagea Very touching blog for christmas. My brother and newphew are in service also. Another was recently dis charged. I like what you said about missing your family, because you love them. I work at a summer camp and I always tell homesick kids that. You miss mom and dad because you love them. I think it helps them.
Keeping the communication open is important too. I think your blog is doing that.
