| Message | The Dukes welcome Mats and the leadership he will provide for our young club. Rumoured to be disatisfied with being left unprotected by his former club, Sundin has indicated to Dukes management an intense desire for prove his former team wrong. On behalf of Mats, GM Duke would like to apologize for the water bottle throwing incident that occured at the Round Three Protection Press Conference. The Dukes also thought it was pretty cool to have a player whose first name is plural. The swapping of pick #13 for Sundin was part 1 of 2 in the future considerations of the Briere deal. | Message | MAJOR TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The Eppsters and the Phillis have completed a deal that will rock the FHL to it's very foundation. The Eppsters have sent fourth-string goaltender David Aebischer to the Phillies...in exchange, the Phillies will not select another forward from the Eppsters (ensuring young superstart such as Robert Lang and Eric Lindros remain with their current squad). This eliminates the Eppsters need toe protect anymore players in expansion. |
