MessageI have to give full credit to the Brown Blazers for remaining so competitive -- like the Detroit Red Wings, the Blazers have a strong foundation built on strong drafting and trading. Their Achilles heel was having just two goalies but as soon as Brodeur went down, Kipper stepped up his game. Can they EVER be counted out?

My actual biggest dissapointments of the year are a)how well Alfredsson is doing. I had a hunch he'd go down early, b) how poorly Lupul and Gerber peformed, and c)how inadequate the thugs I hired have been at getting my money from Shane for my 2000 FHL Cup victory.

MessageCould someone please explain how the Brown Blazers have remained this close to first place with their team in their current state of affairs.

MessageI would be willing to join forces with you Duke in paying Neufeld a little visit over the Holiday season, and remind him that this is the season of giving. Some people need a gentle reminder at this time of year that it is better to give, or you will receive something you dont wish for.

MessageSo far mine is Marty Turco. Coming off a run to the semi finals last year it looked like he had taken another step forward as a top notch goalie. Dallas has taken a step back and Turco's play has been poor. I can only hope that with the departure of Avery the Stars and Turco can get it together.

MessageWhat happened to Staal this year? I figured 90 at least, maybe an outside shot at 100. Boy, was I wrong. He might get pulled next month. Who do you guys have as your biggest disappointments this year?

MessageAt least we're still in the age bracket that the dream could still happen. Once you hit 40 you can all but give up.
