| Message | Eppsters Send Martin Gerber to Pee-Wee for Conditioning (Calgary)- Eppsters GM Chris Epp announced today that he is sending goalkeeper Martin Gerber to the Didsbury Pee-Wee Ramblers. "I know the Senators just sent Gerbs to the AHL for improvement," said Epp, " but who are we kidding? Even the AHL is WAY above his head." Epp says he hopes Gerber will stop at least one-quarter of the shots he faces from the Pee-Wee Ramblers, who are made up of area 11 and 12-year-olds. "Even if he loses a game by less than 5 goals, that will still be his best performance of the season," said Epp. Gerber was selected in the second-roun by the Eppsters shortly after winning a Stanley Cup with the Carolina Hurricaines. His career immediately went into the crapper. |
