MessageI really appreciate Brown giving me a goalie who isn't even in the FHL for my playoff roster. Steve Mason who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets should be the correct goalie. Its hard enough to win this pool with your actual players, but when the commish pulls a stunt like that, hoping I wont check the rosters, as he puts in another player on my team, thats pretty disgracefull.

MessageSteve Yzerman should scratch Jumbo Joe from his list right now. There are way too many other centres out there who can get the job done in a pressure situation. Joe has proven he is a great regular season performer who vanishes when the pressure comes and the situation arises where he needs to elevate his game. This Canada fan says no thanks.

MessageUnbelievable that Thornton has disappeared yet again in the playoffs... this could really hurt his olympic chances. Never seen it before... especially not from a Canadian...

MessageI think it would be interesting to impliment some sort of waiver system in our pool. In a situation like Epps he could place Hamrlik on waivers and each GM would have 24 hours to place a claim on him. The bottom seeded team that made a claim would get the rights to Hamrlik. This would promote more player flexibility if someone was willing to take a chance on a player. There may need to be some restrictions on how many times during the year a player can be placed on waivers. We cant have a GM placing the same player on waivers 35 times thoughtout the season. Something to consider.

MessageEPPSTERS, HAMRLIK PART WAYS

(CP) - Eppsters owner/GM Chris Epp announced today that his team has parted ways with defenseman Roman Hamrlik."
"Roman has been an asset and integral part of this oganization since being acquired fromt he Blazers last season," said Epp "And by asset, I mean "ass" and by "integral", I mean "waste of ice time and salary."
Even though Hamrlik is under contract with the Eppsters until next season, Epp said he'd rather pay out the commie then have him anywhere near the rest of the team.
"Look, I gave him one last shot, adding him to my playoff roster when I could've added any one of my 18 NY Ranger defensemen instead. Hamrlik had a chance to excel and he blew it."
Epp vowed that Hamrlik will be dropped as soon as possible...unless someone wants to trade for him.
The asking price is three first-round draft picks.
