Great playoffs this year all the way around... only flaw has been the nucks, but even there if you're not a Canuck fan the most exciting team got through... | Message | Probably the most dissapointing finish to a season as a Canucks fan. I truly felt the team had a differant attitude and expectations this year that they where going to go a long way. In the end many of the same issues came out. They need more speed and grit on the top 2 lines, and there overall skill level needs to continue to improve. Interesting to note how many Western Canadian players on the Hawks roster compared to our much higher euro influences. The Canucks need more hungry Candian players who will drop headfirst in front of a canon for a Cup. |

| Message | Game 4 was definitely the undoing of the Canucks. Not just the last couple minutes but the whole game. They started to play not to lose which messed with their focus and confidence. It's too hard to get that back once its gone, especially in a short series. And the Blackhawks are awesome as well. I'm cheering for them the rest of the way. |

In my defense I really thought the Nucks were gonna shut down and play defensive hockey and the scores would all be like game 3 and 4... whereas I saw the Penguins Caps series being run and gun 7 games... I was almost right... but the last 3 minutes of game 4 make me look very bad. Anyways... I still have a shot... If the B's can pull it off... and they are a strong enough team to do just that. |

| Message | I've gotta say, i was cheering for the Phillies in this FHL playoff race -- but their poor management decisions (benching their best playoff performer) have caused me to send my loyalties elsewhere....I am now cheering for myself. I understand your dilema, Phil, but you've gotta make the tough choices. I am in second place in my other playoff pool (I know, tought to imagine me actually competing in a pool) because I picked with my head, not my heart. NO Flames made my roster but several players I hate from teams I hate did. So is Shane the last one in our pool whose favourite team is actually still in the playoffs?? |

| Message | The facts are the Hawks are a faster, more skilled team up front. They have a very mobile d core, and solid goaltending. The Canucks are more than capable of beating them in a 7 game series if they play physical, skate their buts off, continue their excellent special teams play, and play smart. If they eliminate the turnovers and the dumb penalties they have an excellent chance of winning the series. I also hope they scrap the gameplan of sitting back on the road and praying the Hawks dont score. This strategy has not worked once in the history of the Canucks but they continue to insist on pulling that page of the playbook out during big games. They must pressure the Hawks and play with viscious determination. |
