MessageI'm tired of this issue. GM's need to get their rosters in on time. State who is going up or down so every GM can follow. If someone makes a questionable roster move, challenge it, lets vote on it, and hand out some form of punishment. It has come to the point that some sort of tangible punishment needs to be put into place.

MessageI guess the problem is that Collin assumed that Stewart went in for Cheechoo but never expicitly stated that on here so Rob never entered it into Pickup Hockey.

Rob hasn't changed the farm teams much on Pickup hockey so you can discount what they say as far as who is active or not.

Ideas for next year... rosters must be in by end of month.
1st time missed = 4th rounder moves to end of order
2nd time missed = 3rd rounder moves back 8 spots
3rd time missed = 2nd rounder moves back 8 spots, etc.

As for icing the best roster, how about other teams have a set amount of time (24-48 hrs) after rosters are in to "cry foul" about anything deemed questionable. Any concerns can be voted on to decide whether a problem exists.

MessageWait... what?

Last time I checked I had Benn and Backlund on the farm.

Man... pickuphockey.com sure is terrible for trying to get a historical view for what is going on. Yikes, ultraguest also is terrible for going through history. Ok.... done.

So you can call me stupid but I thought I had Benn on the farm when in fact I had Cheechoo. So when I drafted Stewart he replace Cheechoo on the farm.

Hmm... it looks like something is really out of whack on pickuphockey.com. After going through the ultraguest history this is what I have written for roster moves
* 2010-02-01 - Johnson down, Kronwall up
* 2010-01-?? - Stewart for Chechoo
* 2010-01-01 - Bieksa and Kronwall will be down for January
* 2009-12-01 - Zidlicky up for Kronwall
* 2009-11-25 - Kyle Quincey acquired
* 2009-11-01 - UP: Goligoski, Benn, Brule, DOWN: Cheechoo, Mueller, Zidlicky

So Mueller has also been on the farm since November but pickuphockey is reporting him as active.

I'm missing something else still because Backlund is also on the farm so I couldn't have 12 players with 3 on the farm.

I'll have a look tonight to try to figure this out as I can't spend anymore time at work.

MessagePlaying Berglund instead of Stewart is not tanking. End of story.

MessageTime for me to be a prick again, I guess.

1. 3 of 8 teams got their rosters in on time. Not a huge deal because of the time of year but draft pick positioning depends on roster moves. We need a hard rule for next year to curb this.

2. CDogg has outright tanked his team. Chris Stewart has been on the farm in place of Berglund or whoever for 3 months now which translates into 16 points. This is the absolute definition of tanking and something has to be done.

I will state for the record that I don't think Collin does this on purpose, he just doesn't pay enough attention to the FHL. But it has a direct impact on the standings and I don't think it's right to be losing out on a prime pick because someone has minimal interest. I call for retroactive roster moves or other sanctions against The CDoggs.

Anyone care?
