| Message | Hey guys. Getting closer to the time to ramp up to the draft. Pool books now coming out, prep right around the corner. I am heading to Alaska tomorrow to scout some prospects for the 2023/24 draft, and will be returning to my home office on August 21. I was thinking of maybe Sept 9, 10, or 11 for the draft? GM's post their 15 man protection lists by midnight Sept 6? Just throwing out some options. Cheers |

| Message | Hey Jeff- thanks for the 'heads up' - we are going to need to get ahead of this so we can do this before you leave. GM Brown jr is also in a bit of a transition season (working at Camp Squeah until Sep. long weekend and then going to CMU in Winnipeg etc.). We're not counting on him being available in person, but he'll be available via text - we just have to pick a day he's not travelling in early Sep. |

| Message | The Vancouver Province has learned that the Derksenville Express have begun legal proceedings against the FHL. The Express have enlisted high profile American Lawyer Jack McCoy, to lead a defamation suit against the FHL, after the recent attacks on the Express. The Express's unlimited financial resources will back the cause, and it is rumored that each current FHL GM has been named in the suit. The lack of public support from GM's Cdogg, Padgham, and Brown jr, is believed to be the theory behind those being included in the suit. Stay tuned for further developments. |

| Message | Hey guys, I know this is early, but I wanted to put this out there. I will be away for 1 month in Atlantic Canada from Sept 13 to Oct 14. This falls over the period of time when we typically have the draft. Maybe we could try to do the draft before I leave, as I would prefer to attend in person, and my internet access may be inconsistent. Thanks for everyone's help in trying to make this work. |
