I really thought the Canucks were just not bothering with the regular season and understood what the playoffs were all about after the last 2 seasons... I expected them to dig deep and really control this series and then have a real battle with Chicago... I was clearly wrong. The lack of mobility from the D core is a huge step down for us, and we are in trouble if it's not changed next year. I do think if Hansen hits the net (or better yet doesn't shoot) the series is still in hand and the Canucks would have time to turn it around. I totally agree on not starting Schneider in Game 3 and we all know I love Schneider... it was a huge and unnecessary gamble. Rebuild? It appears we are more than a few pieces away from the compete neccessary... and we're heading in the wrong direction... all that said, we will win the next 4 games in a row and start the miracle drive. |

| Message | The Canucks are a disgrace from top to bottom. Lets see how good Gillis is a remaking this team. The entire coaching staff needs to go. To play Schnieds after 14 days off when Luongo has been playing good? To have Edler on the top PK unit after watching countless turnovers is stupid. To have all our players on the wrong side on the power play so we cant take a one timer on a 4 on 3 is elementary. How about we get some chemistry going with some lines before the playoffs and then when the playoffs start lets play players with people they have no chemistry with? Edler is terrible, and Raymond is completely useless and scared. I have a complete lack of confidence in our entire scouting department. I have never been so disturbed as a Canuck fan. At least in the 80's we had Stan Smyl sweating his bag off and Snepts blocking shots with his mustache to try and get the job done. Thanks for putting up with my post game rant. |
