| Message | Ahh mommy guilt - as "mothers" we are so hard on ourselves. We all have this picture in our head of what the "perfect" parent is and it's so unfair that we judge ourselves against it. The truth is, there is no perfect parent... I believe the most imporant thing is to have a connection to our kids and love them with all our heart. You are right - Talyn has been affected by what you are going through .. he is growing up with bright, smart, strong, postive, fight against all odds parents - what a lucky little boy. | Message | hey Tasha I've been reading your friend Tricia's blog as well. Wow...she has been through quite the journey too. You guys are certainly strong women with very positive attitudes! Apon reading her blog...I realized that she is an Antonini...small world, as I have known her Aunt Bonnie & Uncle Rob for years & years. | Message | Hi Tasha Not sure you'll remember me from the good ole Martin School of Dance days....I was in tap with you and a couple baton classes too! Anyways, the reason I'm contacting you is because I was waiting in my Dr's office a week ago and I picked up an old Flare magazine to peruse while I waited. My sister in law is battling breast cancer right now, so when I ran across an article about young women fighting it, I immediatley started to read it. I didn't realize it was you until I saw the blogspot address with Engel in it! You are truely inspirational and I applaud you for all you have done & are still doing with Rethink Breast Cancer. I also live in Calgary and want to know how I can help out with Rethink? I would love to volunteer or contribute something for the silent auction. Let me know what i can do.
