Messagehello. i've always wanted to go to bistro since i fell in love with music, pero i never learned how to go to anonas until i started working.

i just graduated last year and started exploring night sceneries.

and now, 70's bistro is much much accessible to me since we relocated in marcos hi-way. araw-araw nadadaanan ko na ang bistro, coming from jp rizal to sto.domingo via anonas.

sana one of these days, mapasok ko na ang isa sa pinaka sikat na gimikan.

at sana magkaron ako ng maraming kaibigan dito.

nga pala, i am an events and marketing officer ng isang sikat na computer magazine. if u want us to sponsor one of your events, please contact me. 09276392741.

libre ba plugging dito? hehe. cge na.

MessageThanks Bel S!

That was one hell of a tribute to all of us - musicians, fans, venues, industry players and of course-- the music that binds us all.

Mabuhay ka! smilie

MessageI remember so many years ago, I used to go to a venue where Chickoy Pura and the Jerks often played during weekends. I was a struggling musician barely out of college and only wanted to steal some guitar licks from Nitoy and Chickoy. I didn't have much and knew no one in the industry so I saved up on my allowances during the weekdays so I can watch them on Friday or Saturday nights that they were scheduled to perform. Seeing them live was enough to make my music week complete.

Now, after playing for various showbands, acoustic trios, and rock originals; after becoming the youngest chief of a music retail giant; after being the marketing go-to guy for another music company; after having my own regular column at Pulp; and after founding rock bad-ass bar 6Underground; my hapiness remains simple: to watch The Jerks at 70s Bistro.

At 70s, I would willfully save up on my "allowance" and will always be just one of the fans... that's enough to make make music week complete.

Messageoh wow, 70s bistro...really good times. i have so many good memories there - being with friends, meeting new friends, smoking and drinking until i couldn't feel my teeth, falling in love, and of course, enjoying music of the best bands ever. thank you so much for all the good times, and for more good times to come.
