MessageI first met Lynn at the Nasville APCO conference in 2002 where I had the privilege of speaking post- 9/11/01. Lynn was a kind, considerate person with an obvious and infectous passion for her profession. She showed that passion in many ways but in particular in personal conversations with me about her concern for the 1,300 members of the NYPD's Communications Division/ E-911 in the aftermath of 9/11. Lynn was always armed with a kind word, a smile, and a joke that fit the moment. I will miss her and my condolences to her family, friends, and co-workers. God bless you Lynn, keep an eye on us... for I know that from where you are now 'assigned' the radio reception is spectacular....

MessageAlthough I have never had the pleasure to meet her in person, I am very sure that she was very specialto you and many others. I heard of all the great things that she was involved in outside of her family life. It takes a special person to do everything that she did for the industry. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Theresa webre

MessageI met Lynn when I took the APCO Instructor course at Metro Nashville PD. Later, I worked with her on the planning committee for the APCO Annual Conference. I remember Lynn as always "doing" and always smiling. During her tenure as President of TENA, she kept us all updated on happenings on the hill and in regards to any events touching us in TN. I remember well her communications to us about the illness and eventual passing of Bellsouth's Fred Lamar.
Lynn's energy and commitment were a hallmark of her character. Metro Nashville and the entire 9-1-1 profession have lost a valuable friend and partner.
