| Message | Just to let everybody know in case of people asking questions,Bradley has broken his fibula, which he did 6 weeks or so ago,and he did not realise he had done it,he did the first few pre-season training sessions and because he was still getting pain in the leg he spoke to Bob,who suggested he went and got an x.ray,so on Friday he went to Epsom, and had his x ray and there was a clean break on hid fibula, which was already starting to mend, however they wanted to see him in the fracture clinic today,so we took him down and the doctor has told him to stop playing non contact sport for between 3 and 6 months, now I am not a doctor, and having been on the website of Leatherhead where Tommy Hutchings has apparantly done the same thing, and they are suggesting about 6 weeks,we are not happy with what the doctor at Epsom has said, and Bradley will be seeing Bob in the next couple of days, and I am going to take him to East Surrey for a second opinion, its not doubting the fact its broken, its the diagnosis that he has been told, and bearing in mind the fibula is a balancing bone, and its the tibia that takes just about all of the body,s weight,we are a bit miffed with what the doctor said at Epsom, and what Bob has said to Bradley.Anyway we will know a bit more once we have been to East Surrey, which we will probably do tomorrow but for the time being he wont be playing any matches, and we willre-asess the situation over the next week or so. |
