I was looking through some dusty old printouts when I found something from 1988, where I was on MIST, chatting to yourself and Nicki The Witch, before I was FODded or met the usual fate, i.e.

Me: "Hi, I'm Twink."
*** BLAT ***
Me: "Twink 'ere. I'm from Devon."
*** BAMMM ***

AFAIK, the word 'Twink' didn't have its current meaning in those days. If it did, I was too naive to know - I was young and an idiot. I went on playing with that name for another few years on MUD2, where generally no-one knew me, and those who did remember me as this guy who used to carry a Tandy 102 around Ilfracombe telephone boxes in the early hours of the morning (I was totally hooked on MUD).
