| Message | Bay Roberts...just a stone throw away from Spaniards Bay  Spent a weeks vacation (not long enough...and a big HELLO to Val and Rhodie) in Spaniards Bay (also got screeched in officially, glad I don't have to do that again as it wasn't pretty )and visited daily to Bay Roberts for french vanilla cappacino...yummy  ..Beautiful place and the people are of the very best kind...really hated to go back home...can't wait to go back to Newfoundland..perhaps this summer to take in the activities of Klondyke Days...sounds like a blast !!  |

| Message | BAY ROBERTS ROCKS!! im 20 and originally from Bay Roberts but i am now living in Faroe Islands located in Europe.. I first moved away from the Island when i was 17 but i would always go back because U can take the people out of the bay but cant take the bay out of the people ..~!~ shout out to all my peeps back home. Eg elski teg ~!~ |

| Message | Hi to old friends from 1963/64,especially North River....Delaney,Morrissey,Hanlon,Hall,etc. Spent every weekend there,out from Placentia with a couple of other friends(Bill,Mac,Dom). Fond remembrances of Donald's in North River,Green Door,and friends in Country Road,etc.,Bay Roberts. I moved to Labrador city and then on to Australia in Jan.,1966. Been here since,with a lot of time in Indonesia (my second language)and Asia generally. Currently tracing family tree,(1)GREENEs of Point Verde,who have Hall,Delaney,Hanlon in there too.Halls are connected to Nth.River.Anyone know if these Delaneys,Hanlons are?Have 74 pages so far. (2)JUDGE families.Every Judge in Nfld. is mine.Have 70 pages.(3) PIKE,Mount Carmel,Salmonier,St. Lawrence(Burin),Harbor Grace. Only few pages. My GGF was John Gilbert Pike,descendant of you know who. Like to exchange genealogy information(Hall,Delaney,Pike,etc.) and also hear from old friends in North River,etc. Thanks.Ward [email protected] |
