I hear from Seraya that you are back at home for Easter - how wonderful for you all - Ashleigh must be beside herself, especially as she didn't want you to go back after your overnighter. Keep up the journal - it is so interesting to hear how Tyler is now going from strenght to strength and so nice to read the journal without crying. Have a wonderful Easter. |

I've been reading your journal lots lately it is good to no your progress.I know of a little boy thats never had a haircut in his life and he is now eight and i was showing him your sight and he wants to cut it all off to help sick kids like you i thought it was a good idea now we just have to talk his mum in to letting him do it.Oh and brodie is starting to find his feet for when you come home so you two can act like little monkeys and run around which i'm sure your uncle marty and dad will encourage! anyways gotta go keep on keeping on lotsa love and kisses Uncle Marty Brodie and Hayley |

| Message | To Tyler's parents, I came across this website after seeing an auction on ebay to raise money for a cubbyhouse for Tyler. As a parent myself, I have read with tears in my eyes of the ordeal you have all been through in the past few months. It is times such as this, that I realise how lucky I am to have 2 healthy girls but it is also scary to think that you just don't know what is around the corner as I'm sure you didn't that day Tyler told you he had a tummy ache. Cancer is an insidious disease thats scares the living daylights out of me. It is not just the horror of the disease itself but the terrible medical interventions needed to cure it. I feel angry at the moment, angry that an innocent little boy has had to deal with all that he has and that you as a family have gone through so much. I don't know who I'm angry at but I'm just angry. I'm sorry, this was meant to be a message of support to you, but I honestly do not think I could say anything that would be supportive. I would have no idea of the heartbreak you would be feeling now, I could only imagine. I am going to donate $10 towards his cubby. I know it's not much but I would not be able to sleep tonight if I didn't feel I was contributing something. God I wish I could just give you guys a cuddle or take away some of your fear and heartache but I can't. Just please know that I am thinking of you all and I hope there will be brightness in your future because you so deserve it. Sheryl |
