| Message | Hi there found your site and was so interested, I love clematis and have a lovely one in my garden now, but I am moving to a new house in 10 days so have to star from scratch, have already bought a clematis now in a pot sitting in my sunroom waiting for its new home. I notice you are from Stafforshire, thats where I emigrated from in 67, I lived in wombourne, Staffs. Gardening here is quite a different matter due to hard winter, but stil a joy.I was looking for home made fertilizer receipe for the CLematis but maybe you have some tips. My Granny had a lovely one and she threw something on hers from the kitchen but I have no idea what it was, tea? I was just a kid. My new one will be going against a garage brick wall, basically south west facing, very sandy soil but lots of sun, I know to keep the base cool. Any help would be appreicated. |
