| Message | Appreciate any announcements you can give us on your systems. Doug Grace ve1 dfg RAC ( Radio Amateurs Of Canada ) is pleased to announce its support for the Canadian National Parks on the Air event (CNPOTA) next year in cooperation with Parks Canada. This year-long event will take place from January 1 to December 31, 2019. All Radio Amateurs world-wide will have an opportunity to operate portably from any of Parks Canada’s 48 National Parks and 171 National Historic Sites (these are ‘activators’). Amateurs around the world will be able to chase these adventurous operators in an effort to confirm the most QSOs (these are ‘chasers’). Activity for activators and chasers will be tracked on a dedicated web site and real-time leader board and other statistics will be available throughout the year. Activators and chasers will be able to compete for and collect on line awards and certificates created specifically for the event. You’ll find more detail on the Canadian National Parks on the Air website (cnpota.ca). Come join the fun and plan to visit one of Canada’s beautiful Parks and Historic sites next year! - CNPOTA event committee |

| Message | Phew by the end of July, OFCOM had agreed the NOV, qsl cards were on order so a site visit was arranged with the SANDS chairman to view the site and arrange the station location and aerial site. |

| Message | When the group was formed Linda G0YLM one of our founder members suggested it might be an idea for the group to have a meal each quarter of the year to show our appreciation to our wives and significant others and it sad to report that due to the credit crunch and all that came with it we were forced to drop this idea. |
