MessageHe, like every typical filipino creme of the crops, is a product of a well bread family of a mother who's father is a reputed law - man, and a father whose expertise on diplomacy and business can be called one of the greatest Filipinos in town - or even, nation. He is god's gift to Jo de Venecia, and a mentor to Gwen Codilla - Garcia.

There's nothing overexposed over a Filipino fine crop: he/she learnt that cleanliness is next to godliness, and you can see his picture on the 'forum' here. He's very very clean and pleated; so as his great mind and actions.

How about the others? Do they, in their countries, also take a bath 3 times a day or is 'cleanliness' also part of their expertise? smilie

MessageThanks for the info Allen, I rather call you that way. Great job on the rescue of our mishandled kababayans. I would inform my filipino co-chatters at DZRH chatroom wherein some are from UK. I am sure they will appreciate to hear the news on Mass Celebration and inform their friends and relatives on that occasion.
I am based here in Germany for 31 years now. Born catholic but attainding different christian practices to broadened my christian belief. In a year or two I'll be returning home for good to Ormoc or Cebu. I would then be sharing my earned knowledge and experiences from this host country to our beloved people. Chat or email me at norberto_caubat@yahoo.com. I*ll be glad to exchange valuable and sensible infos. I do care for a better Philippines.

MessageHi Bert, salamat po for your kind comments, Father Claro Conde (from Tacloban) who runs the Filipino Mission UK have worked together some 10 years and unfortunately we have kidnapped over 600 Filipino Nurses & Caregivers from bad employers in the UK and placed then with good ethical UK employers.
This coming May 7th the Filipino Chior of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Croydon South London will sing 3 Filipino Songs at the Mass Celebration in Westminister Cathedral to celebration the Mayday Bank Holiday in UK. The chior will dress in Filipino National Dress, it is considered an honour, its the first time a Filipino Choir has been invited to sing in the Cathedral. I shall join the choir as I now speak quite a lot of Tagalog. Many from the London Filipino Community in London will join in the Mass Celebration, the Phil Embassador will be present. Perhaps you can let me have your email address. My wife's family come from Ormoc, the Barrios of Lao & Curva. My best regards. Kuya Allen

MessageTo Mayor Codilla and his team,

My wife and I will be visiting Ormoc in May. Actually, we will be arriving the day of the election.

Our house is in an area of barangay Luna where there are no cemented streets yet. Especially during the rainy season, we often have problems getting through with our 2-wheel drive Suzuki multicab and our tricycles.

Could you give me any indication if the City of Ormoc has plans for cementing the roads in this area in the near future?

Thank you beforehand for your feedback and success with the elections.

Regards,
Paul Carremans

MessageHello people in Ormoc howdydothere? I just read the news about Sodium lamps for several barangays on the way, It was a nice moved. I just wanted to say through hrtr that there is some important place also to be counted of this project, which is my place of province of BRGY GREEN VALLEY. ORMOC CITY GARBAGE WHICH IS GIHIMO NILANG BASURAHAN ANG AMO BRGY. THEY SHOULD LOOK OVER IT. WE ARE NOT THAT SO LUCKY NOW BECAUSE WE HAVE ALL THE ODDS LANGAW LAMOK AND SMELL SA BAHO SA BASURA. ALTHOUGH I'ME NOT LIVING THERE NOW, BUT I HAVE CONTACT MY FAMILY NOW AND THEN AND THEY TOLD ME ABOUT THIS. I DO READ THE LOCAL NEWS EVERYDAY HOPING THERE IS SOME GOOD PLAN FOR MY BRGY. WE HAVE A RAPROAD AS YOU CAN SEE IF ANYONE WILL TAKE A LOOK THERE, AND VERY DARK ROAD AT NIGHT. I'M JUST CONCERNED WITH MY NEIGHBORS WHO WORK IN THE CITY AND TAKE HABALHABAL AT NIGHT WITH A VERY DARK ROAD. THEY WILL BE LUCKY IF THERE IS HABALHABAL DRIVERS WILL DRIVE THEM HOME, SOME DRIVERS SCARED OR AFRAID TO ENTER MY BRGY BECAUSE OF THE DARK ROAD AND SOMETHING ELSE. I SHOULD WRITE THIS TO A BETTER PLACE WHERE I CAN SEND MY MESSAGE TO THE LEADER OF ORMOC SPECIALLY OUR BELOVED MAYOR. BUT BECAUSE I AM ALSO A GUESS SO I HAVE A RIGHT TO WRITE MY OPINION HERE. GOD BLESS TO ALL.
