| Message | Hi Allison!  I have been a fan of yours ever since I first saw you on the live Television special "Inside Pandora's Box" aired some years ago on A-chanel (London, Ontario). You touched me with your music; especially your song for your friend Lisa! It makes my eyes water every time I hear it, and I wish I could pierce-through all the darkness, mystery, and confusion, and find her and re-unite you with her and for her family and friends.... I have also lost someone close to me in a tragic way ; ... My Uncle Freddy who I love. He was murdered/gay-bashed to death for being gay in 1981 in Vancouver and was found left for dead in an alley.There was not much of an investigation and the person/s/ responsible were never discovered. There is a hole inside of me and my family has never been the same and no-one talks about it/him. I was very young when this happened but I remember him and he was my favorite uncle. This event has altered/affected my world view and I also relate because I myself am gay and I was tortured all through public school and high school for it by people who hate; just as my uncle was hated and murdered. Hatred killed my uncle.  I also relate to yoursong "Disease" as, well, ...let's just say that depression has been no stranger to me. I get so much fromyour music and I would love to see you "Live" one day! I am a fan I would love to meet you someday and probly would give you a big hug (and I know I could certainly use one!)Chris Savoy. |
