keep up the good work, you have inspired me to get into restoring 6139 chronos.

Making lots of mistakes, and spending loads of money but having great fun, would appreciate tips on restoring cosmetics of watches which your blog does not give much info on.

MessageHi there!

I have spend about 2 hours on the net trying to find some info
about the Seiko 7625-8033, wich I got from my dear father
before he past away.
The one I got is white/silver inside, not black as the one you
show.
And it looks like yours on the first pic, but worse...

It would be nice to shape it up and make sure it works alright, like you did on yours.
And then use it! smilie

Is this expensive do you think, if I would go to a specialist?

And are all watches with that number made in 1967?

This is maby stupid questions for you, but I don“t know a shit about watches smilie

Well well... you seem to be damn good on what you are doing, man! Great work, the watch looks like new!

MessageDear R,
This is a truly fantastic blog. I love Seiko watches and here in my town PUNE, located in Maharashtra State, you can get Seikos for dime a dozen.
Your blog helped me pick some models up.
6119C, a bell-matic 4006 and hopefully a 8306.

Great work keep it up.

Thanks once more,

MessageHi There,

I have a Seiko M330 Sealion (inherited from my father who was a navigator with the Cdn Air Force). I'm not sure if the watch is worth restoring and wondering how much it would cost? Also, I can't figure out how to set the date? Any advice is appreciated - thanks.

MessageHi Rich,
Was just browsing on google when I stumbled upon your site. I collect mainly military watches but have just recently started collecting seikos as well. Recently acquired a 6309-7040, 6309-7290 and a 6139-7100.All of them completely original. Now looking for a nice 6105-8110.

Love the work you do and will be visiting often. Keep it up!

Regards,
Andy
