| Message | Actually, I think your struggles with not turning this into a "Feud" chapter made it even truer and deeper: although this is basically a "getting closer to happy resolutions" chapter, it still has an undertone of all the misunderstandings, pain, and actual cruelty in Imladris of the past 10 years. In fact, Thranduil's "punishment" of the Twins works even better than he expected: hearing Legolas talk at last about how he's felt about his life so far (especially his feelings about missing his lost brother and his desperate effort to bring him back) must make them feel as badly about their previous hateful treatment of him as even Thranduil could wish. |

| Message | WOW! i wanted to write last night, but then i had to read through the chapter again and a third time... it runs on so many levels... just amazing. i think i will have to read another couple of times before catching everything. i particularly feel for legolas, who finally could get out a bit of the terror inspired by his impending parenthood. thank you! |

Really struggled to get it done and have been worried about whether it is 'off' compared to the other chapters. and good to see legolas' anger was not just a reprise of what he'd gone over with elrond. i just felt he has bottled everything up trying to get through life. something had to give somewhere. thank you for this wonderful reassurance |

I think you did a superb job here of capturing the waves of emotions of everyone concerned in the bond: from Elrond's realization of how very wrong he has been in so many of his attitudes, to Legolas's finally being able to express his deep frustration at having been robbed of so many choices, to the Twins' willingness to finally become true friends as well as lovers to their new mate. The ritual piercing was beautifully written, from start to finish! |

Phillipines! ultra-cool  I am so excited when I see how far the stories travel recs are hard as i don't read fanfic much anymore. all-time fave authors include Jasta Elf, Jay of Lasgalen, Jenolas, Ana the Library Elf, Sivan Shemesh, Esteliel, will have to think some more on this one, not a complete list by any means, just who pops up at once. I once had a link page on this site and am not sure if it is still there. will check and try to update it. |

| Message | hi ebbingnight yes, Aearlinn usually makes me feel better, but i just read what I wrote and will have to cut a huge chunk out as it is all just more darkness. i don't think this is the correct place in the story for more of that, so another delay while i work it out. hard to write exciting erotic scenes when i am suicidal, but i am trying. we'll see how it works out. don't bother to expect anything for another week or so as i try to ride this out. need to switch over to Feud and get a chapter down, pour all the horror into that. sigh.
