MessageLol, erobey...it seems I start signing the guestbook again when I have exams. LOL. I see you updated Fractured Light.

::.reading...::

Guess what I'm doing?? Lol, I'm studying. ^^ For what? Exams. Hehe. We start this Wednesday. I am reading your fanfics right now, while studying, because last time, it gave me good luck.

I am sorry I haven't replied to you here a few months ago. >.< There seemed to be a little bit of a bug with the guestbook. I used to click "post message" and...nothing happened, it just returned me to the blank "Sign Guestbook" form.

(It pissed me off)

Anyway, I am a lot better than before. The surgery I told you about wasn't something too dangerous, it's the tests that followed that were worrisome. I thought I had a malignant tumor. Turned out it wasn't anything serious.

And about the previous exams. ::.grumbles:: I got 5 A's and a B in psychology and a C in Anatomy.

I hate anatomy.

Anyway, I'm off to read the update and continue studying now. I read that you weren't taking the low-statistics for Aearlinn well. Don't worry about that. ::.hugs!:: Cheer up, even if people have no time to read now...they will come back for it later on (Just like me right now).

Your fics are too awesome for us to stay away from too long.

MessageHi ebbingnight smilie

thank you for those wonderful compliments and am so pleased you saw that angle in the story. i admit i was thinking along those lines when the idea came to me. it is always hard for me to pair legolas with the much older elves, trying to find places where there is more than raw lust and attraction to hold them together. this seemed like a logical choice given my own love for archaeology. and Erestor is maybe playing it a little on the ignorant side for someone so ancient and wise, but he knows legolas needs a way to feel good about who he is and what his life is all about.

well, i wish i could say i agree with you about the stress of location influencing my story in a positive way. i wish it was so. just look at the last rambling chapter of aearlinn to see what the depth of depression can do to a tale. it is so bad it has the lowest hit count of any aearlinn chapter ever. smilie

what is working now is the lifting of the worst of that depression. the stresses of the place are increasing, unfortunately, and i have some nerve wracking weeks ahead of me in june. so i am writing while i can enjoy it without looking over my shoulder.

as always, your wonderful support through everything is one of the things that keeps me going. thank you very much smilie

MessageWhat a fascinating idea to embed into "Fractured Light 7": the idea of discovering whether someone had occupied parts of Imladris long before Elrond and his folk came there. And it works so well with the archaeology of the heart by which Elrond is trying to heal Legolas!

Even if you don't like the place where you are, it can have a powerful influence on how you perceive things, no? *This* was made stronger by *that*, I suspect.

MessageHi, I finished reading „Faer na Faer”. I liked all those misunderstandings and those beating around the bush. But what really made me laugh was the situation right after the battle when Legolas refused to let his injury be treated.
"Be still and let me have a look at the injury for it is likely to be poisoned."
"It is not poisoned; I would know," retorted Legolas. …
"I think it may be poisoned after all," he mumbled and promptly lost consciousness.
