| Message |  Just spent a wonderful w/e at Higher Holbeam.I would recommend this Guesthouse to anyone wanting peace and quiet as it's set in an idylic spot with beautiful views all around.The rooms are first class,spotlessly clean and the food was secont to none,with great emphasis on whole food. | Message | We had a lovely stay at Higher Holbeams, the welcome was great, even the family dog was pleased to see us, and greeted us with a wagging friendly tail! Our room was very well thought out, the furniture was more than adequate with plenty of drawers and hanging space. As well as the normal tea making facilities there was the extra touch of having two bottles of still water, The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was very clean and again, much thought had gone into it to make it feel more like being at home. Breakfast the following morning was a warm family affair, home made smoothies, tea, and a well cooked breakfast, cooked using local produce, served with the help of Elle was enchanting, and set us up for the rest of the day. We were treated very well and made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend Higher Holbeam as I feel it is one of the best guest houses I have recently had the pleasure to stay at. I will definately look forward to visiting Devon and staying here again.
