Message26 years of my life in love of my lifetime movie. XANADU. Starring Olivia Newton-John.

I was 13 when I saw the movie and then I fell in love with the movie. Especially Kira (Olivia Newton-John)

If Kira doesn't come directly to Sonny Malone (Michael Beck) it could come directy to me being a teenager in that time.

That's why I really love XANADU. Olivia Newton-John is my inspirational muse of my whole life.

MessageLet me start by saying thank you for this website. Nice to know I'm not alone in my love of this movie.

You know, Xanadu's parts definitely do not add up to the whole. The dialogue is stilted, acting wooden (beat..beat..come on Michael say your line!) and the plot is very far from novel.

However, as a mnemonic for a person's private nostalgia it rates among the best. The music by ELO and ONJ makes the film, and evokes romance, spirit and triumph.

I saw it when I was 7, and fell in love with the character of Kira.

I guess we all need our very own Muse...

MessageOne of the greatest things that I love of XANADU is all visual effects since beginning through the end. Still more better than STAR WARS. An excellent movie. Still better than GREASE.

A great wish is XANADU will be back again on big screen or to be aired on TV channels like HBO, CINEMAX, SHOWTIME and THE MOVIE CHANNEL.

XANADU is the movie of my life since when I was a teenager. I recommend XANADU to all general audience to the whole wide world. It a great musical movie that you'll never forget.

Thank You.

MessageHi, I am a recent viewer to the ultra-bitchin' [really good] movie form 1979, ''Xanadu'', it was brilliant, really great, excellent music, although at some scene's I cringe, as Gene Kelly dances awfully around a department store to the great ELO classic song ''All over the world'', bar that it was amazing, and Olivia Newton-John was really beautiful too, I think I have a crush on her, dying to see ''2 of a kind'' now, loved ''Grease 1 and 2'', really loved it, bye

MessageI thought you might be interested in my show car, her name is "Xanadu" and has a sunset mural on her quarter panels with the "Xanadu" logo floating in the sky above the ocean. The website where it can be seen and enlarged for copying is: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/227003/8. She has won many awards and has turned many heads. It's my tribute to one of my favorite movies of all time. smilie

MessageSince when I was 13 years old. XANADU is the movie of my life. An inspirational movie that make my dreams come true. Host an fireworks show inspired by this musical movie in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico. I really love XANADU. Especially the Opening Night scene with all drums and everybody shouting XANADU! and then appears Olivia Newton-John as "Kira" singing the title song. smilie
