| Message | I absolutely adored this man. I particularly enjoyed any movie he was in with Doris Day. I have quite a few taped, and stumbled onto this site. I am so sad to learn he died so young and of stomach cancer, a very painful way to leave this earth. Everytime I see a movie with him it makes my day, and my teenage daughter's day, too. | Message | I hope Jack Carson's family sees your wonderful site. I surfed in via Imdb where I was reading about I. Stanford Jolley, saw him on 'Bonanza' this morning and wanted to know more about him. Interesting that his beautiful daughter, Sandra, was the widow of Jack Carson. An Imdb link has a great photo of Stan Jolley and Jack Carson. Thank you for putting together this tribute to a very good actor and a very interesting man. |

| Message | I met Jack Carson at the Mapes Hotel in Reno, Nevada in the summer of 1959. He was filming an episode of Bonanza, and appearing in his nightclub act in the Sky Room of the Mapes. He invited me to his suite, and we talked a very friendly gentleman. |
