| Message | Dear Melton Mowbray Scooter Club, I wondered if you could make known the fact that "THE MODS" are appearing at the Assembly Rooms in Tamworth this Saturday 10th November. Please check out our brand new website themodsband.com which has attracted 45000 hits in just 4 months. On here you will find live footage of the band full biogs and photos plus message board forthcoming gigs and our own shop !!! We specialise in recreating the incredible music of 1964 - 1970 better than anyone else and we are definately not cheesey.  We don't don wigs or dress silly  but we do play it with passion and so much energy. World Class musicians who have played in Queen, Gillan, Mike Oldfield, Joan Armourtrading Tina Turner Pete Townsend Rick Wakeman The Kinks and many more.
