MessageWhat a beautiful poem. Every week I get angry at the fact that you didn't get into creative writing. When I read other people's silly and somewhat vulgar poetry, I lament the fact that the Professor decided to overlook your masterpieces.

Grr professors. Grr.

MessageSheikha, what a cool post...what a mean old lady! :( I've had people make comments to me about my hijab, but NEVER did they wish death upon me! You're so patient, I wouldn't have said "may God guide you." I would've probably been too shocked to say anything :S

I love your ending - "how can you not." May Allah (swt) reward you for wearing the niqab...it's so much tougher than just hijab. You wrock!

Message...continuing:

These were some of the verses under my favourite ayaat section in my blog. Don't feel bad Sheikha, if this life wasn't filled with trials, tests and tribulations, who would look forward to the hereafter? Who would crave Jannah? Whose heart would not be attached to this life? Justice is soon approaching Sheikha, they don't know it - blind and oblivious, they go on - The Day of JUDGEMENT:

Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth,- nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things. (Chapter #58, Verse #7)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #19)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #24)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #28) Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #34)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #37)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #40)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #45)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #47)

Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of truth! (Chapter #77, Verse #49)

MessageRe: Arabic is a terrorist language

"Un"believable! Sheikha, I am not dumbfounded, not at all. Obviously, it is quit disgusting, but rejoice in the words of Allaah:

الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ "Those to whom the people said: Surely men have gathered against you, therefore fear them, but this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector." Suratu Aal-'Imraan, Verse 173

"And let not those grieve you (O Muhammad SAW) who rush with haste to disbelieve; verily, not the least harm will they do to Allah. It is Allahs Will to give them no portion in the Hereafter. For them there is a great torment." Suratu Aal-'Imraan, Verse 176

MessageSheikha don't be sad. Although those poems are awesome. Just awesome.

I'm really mad that you didn't get it. It's actually ridiculous, and I'm not just saying so. Your poems are the epitome of wickedness and creativity and awesome writing. SubhanAllah.

Chin up, girl. Chin up. This decision of theirs. It proves nothing.

MessageRe: your Lebanon post.

I can only hope and pray that Allah (swt) softens our hearts and never allows us to turn a blind eye to people who are suffering.

I can't say anything that would surpass this ayah: "And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out" (Talaq: 2).

No matter how hard it gets, and how badly I want to give up talking about it and hoping for a solution, I can't. Not when Allah (swt) forbids me to. There will always be hope, no matter how much rubble lies over it, and no matter how small its rays are. You cannot live without hope. So don't, my friend.
