MessageI run a miniatures group and we are researching Dutch Canal Houses. I am also about to start a 1/24th watermill and a toymaker's roombox. You are a brilliant source of information and inspiration. Thank You.

MessageYour work is such a delight and inspiration. When my daughter was about 10 she was given an old hand made dolls house which we lovingly painted, replaced windows and doors and decorated. Although we were pleased with it, it remained a little girls doll house. Since then I have been dreaming of making my own, I did not want a 'pretty house' and started getting ideas. The Black Country museum gave me the inspiration to make a Victorian Haberdashery shop. Having visited your sight has made me realise buildings can look aged and realistic. I just hope my shop turns out OK, but cannot wait to __ hi Lynn, hope your shop turns out o.k., if you need any advice then email me. regards Vic

MessageI have just spent an anjoyable hour browsing through your site and you take my breath away. I don't think I have ever seen models of castles that are as authentic and real looking as the ones you have made. My compliments to you on your incredible craftmanship and attention to detail.

How long on average would it take you to make a castle like the one on the craggy cliff with the steps leading up to it. I make miniatures myself and am just a beginner but I have just made a miniature garden which although its nowhere near your standards has taken me several weeks of concentrated effort. I wondered if I am just very slow and will get faster with experience or if that's a reasonable amount of time to spend on a project that isn't made commercially.

Anyway Vic, thanks for displaying your models, your site is now in "my favourites" under the heading Great Items.

Keep up the good work
Best Regards
Jo
