MessageSo the girlfriend was away and there was no World Cup match on so what was a fella to do on Monday night?

Had a look on line to see if there was anything interesting happening in town and saw you were playing in Whelan's.

The best €12 I've spent in ages! You seemed quite nervous as you began your beautiful first sean nos number but within minutes you had the crowd completely wrapped around your little finger.

I particularly loved your version of Persuasion. I've always liked the song but it may as well have been written for your voice.

I've been raving about you since and am looking forward to converting more people to your music and bringing them along next time you play (no doubt at a bigger venue) in Dublin.

Well done.

K

MessageHi Muireann, Just putting finishing touches to the article for IMM. It was lovely to meet yourself and Billy last week. You were most welcoming and are a journalist's dream: you spoke copiously and exuberantly. I hope the move went as well as could be expected. No breakages! Hope to catch your Whelan's gig. Album is great too - it be the voice - the voice!! Nice one.
Ciao,
Conor

MessageI have always enjoyed the music you make with Danu. I have been lucky enough to see you and the band many times in the midwest part of the US. I bought the solo CD at a show in March and I love it.
Your voice is truly a gift to music lovers around the world.
Cheers!

MessageMy wife and I saw you perform on June 5th in Dingle as part of the summer series there. It was a great performance and we're big fans. I have been a Danú fan for a while and it's great to see a solo CD from you too. I'm a singer working on a doctoral degree in early music, but I've been trying to work sean-nós and Irish song into the curriculum and hope to make it more visible to the American public. Thanks for making our stay in Dingle even more memorable! The best of luck to you with the CD and in the future. Slán go fóill!
