| Message | My Dad was born in Bareneed around 1898. I was fortunate enough to visit St. Johns with my company and rented a car so I could see where he was born. This was a wonderful opportunity for me but I regret he was no longer alive. It's great to see where your roots are from. Everyone should make at least one visit to their parents and grand parents home. |

| Message | My grandfather, Bill Corbett (b. 1900), was from Clarke's Beach. I plan on visiting at the beginning of the summer. I have the 2005 Baccalieu Trail visitor's guide and along with my Uncle, Bob Corbett, will be looking to camp, sightsee, and maybe fish in the area. I would also like to rent a dory for a few hours. Any help will be appreciated. |
