| Message | Dear P.T. Namgyal la, I believe you are one of the best young Tibetan singers today. Your melodious voice, the meaningful lyrics, the soothing music, and the originality of your own tunes makes you above the rest of many modern Tibetan singers, most of who's songs are just a junky with either the tunes are wholely or partially copied from Hindi or English songs, or the lyrics are the same old Tibetan lyrics slightly twisted here and there, making their songs not really new and interesting. Keep up the good job of making your own unique/new/pure Tibetan songs devoid of purported tunes from Hindi/English songs. One huge request to you as your biggest fan is please, please ... don't mix any English rap/hip hop songs in your beautiful Tibetan songs. Doing so is like putting a dark spot on the face of otherwise your perfect picture. Mixing rap or hip hop in Tibetan songs just ruins the beauty of your melodious songs. Also since every single Tibetans has responsibility of preserving/promoting our gravely endangered culture and language as H H always reminds us, your singing of undiluted Tibetan songs will have great impact on many of the young Tibetans to enthuse them with pure Tibetan songs and music. I bought a Tibetan MP3 songs recently and while listening, except for your's,Tenzin Gyalpo Michael's, and Tsering Gyurme's, most of the songs are just a CD space filler junks with full of immitation and like khijri. So please make pure songs and remain on the top. Good luck!! |
